REPRESENTATIVES from the Federation of Small Businesses from Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight hosted a meeting with regional MPs in Westminster to address issues and concerns for micro and small businesses.
The meeting was sponsored by Caroline Dinenage, MP for Gosport and Small Business Ambassador for the south.
Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt MP also attended.
Ken Moon, chairman of FSB Wessex, said: ‘These meetings are invaluable and provide a great opportunity to speak directly to a number of our local MPs.
‘Small businesses continue to be recognised by government as key to our economic future, and at meetings like these, we relish the opportunity of highlighting our key areas of concern.
‘We will continue to campaign for positive action.’
According to the FSB, the meeting showed there is an understanding of the problems facing business, with the MPs who attended confirming their support for the local small business community.
