A FREE networking event for businesses now has a new sponsor.
Fletcher Consultancy has put its name behind the First Friday Networking event in Portsmouth.
Kelly Fletcher, contracts director of the firm, said: ‘One of the main reasons we decided to take over sponsorship of First Friday is because it’s a great way to meet new and exciting people and businesses.
‘We have been to several of the events and every time we have met someone new.
‘It’s a great way to network and build up contacts.’
On the first Friday of every month, businesses can come along and meet new people.
Fletcher Consultancy is a Portsmouth-based accredited training centre that provides NVQ and apprenticeships on a local and nationwide scale.
The event is held at the Sir Alec Rose Wetherspoon pub, in Port Solent, and runs from midday to 2pm.
Businesses do not need to book a place in advance, they are welcome to join on the day.
