Pensions changes will be focus of seminars

TWO free seminars are being run to help Hampshire businesses cope with changes in the law that will see up to 10 million UK workers automatically enrolled into a pension scheme.

Blake Lapthorn, which has an office in North Harbour, Portsmouth, and recruitment specialist Hays have joined forces for the events.

Adrian Lamb, Blake Lapthorn’s legal director for pensions, said the law changes are ‘significant’.

Both events will take place at Blake Lapthorn’s office in Chandler’s Ford.

The first, on March 21, will help firms identify which of their staff will be affected by the changes, and then how to implement them.

The second, on April 16, will focus on a review of payroll and IT, as well as other financial challenges facing firms.

To attend, contact Kelly.benfield@bllaw.co.uk.
