HOMES and businesses in Gosport have been left without electricity after a power cut.
Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution said the lights went out at around 2am after there was a high voltage fault on the network.
Around 3,300 customers were affected and all but one had their power back by 4am.
The final customer had their electricity back by 9am.
A spokesman for SSE said: ‘Our apologies to customers affected for the inconvenience.
‘We would like to thank them for their patience while we worked to restore supply.’
