HOME, leisure and garden chain The Range is set to move on to a Portsmouth industrial estate.
The chain has signed a 20-year lease for a 32,000sq ft retail unit on the Portfield Industrial Estate, off Airport Service Road in Portsmouth.
The unit used to be the home of MFI and The Range will move into it following a refit.
The opening of this new store adds to The Range’s south coast outlets in Gosport, Southampton, Worthing and Bournemouth.
The deal was done by Lambert Smith Hampton on behalf of family firm Hargreaves Properties Ltd, which owns the industrial estate.
It means the site is now fully occupied.
