ROLLS-ROYCE Motor Cars has revealed its bespoke service has become more popular than ever before.

Almost 95 per cent of Rolls-Royce cars purchased last year were personalised by their owners.

The success has led to jobs for a further 100 workers being created, said the company’s chief executive Torsten Müller-Ötvös.

In its first year, 90 per cent of Wraiths were purchased with bespoke options.

Ninety nine per cent of Ghosts and Phantoms bought in the Middle East featured various levels of bespoke content.

Levels of personalisation on the Phantom were highest around the world compared to other models, with 98 per cent of North American customers and 95 per cent of European owners creating bespoke Phantoms.

All three models surpassed their targets in 2013 with an overall revenue increase of 30 per cent over 2012.

Mr Müller-Ötvös said: ‘The success of this operation here at Goodwood continues to attract more discerning individuals from all over the world to our marque.’
