Southsea’s Pyramids Centre swimming pools still closed
SWIMMING pools at the Pyramids Centre, Southsea, are still closed.
The closure is due to ongoing repair work to the swimming pool circulation, as reported in The News.
In a statement the centre said initial work to fix the fault had taken place but added that tests needed to be carried out
It said it was still unclear when this process will be complete but added that ‘a number of procedures need to be carried out, including starting to fill the pools’.
Swimming remains closed until further notice.
But all other facilities at the centre will remain open as usual.
A spokesman from the centre said: ‘We are working as quickly as we can to resume normal service and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
‘Thank you for your patience though this difficult time.’
