HIGHBURY students have what it takes, after taking the whole spectrum of medals at the WorldSkills UK Skills Show – the country’s biggest skills and careers showcase.
They picked up five medals in web design and IT after taking on the best of the nation’s young talent.
Mark Flynn and Jonathan Poole scooped gold and silver respectively in the Advanced Microsoft IT Technician category. Mark hopes to go on to a similar competition in Brazil.
Harry Shaw and Marley Adamson took gold and silver in intermediate web design and fellow web competitor Peter Holt completed the medal haul with a bronze in the advanced level.
