HAMPSHIRE’S tourist attractions were showcased to a group of national coach and tour operators, in a bid to attract more visitors.
The tour was organised by Hampshire County Council as Visit England launches its target of a five per cent year-on-year growth in England’s tourism.
Coach and tour operators visited Hampshire’s world-class attractions including the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Quays, Buckler’s Hard Maritime Museum, and the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.
Councillor Ray Ellis said: ‘This visit shone a spotlight on the warm welcome that awaits visitors to Hampshire.’
