Luxury cruise ship Wind Surf was using the city’s port as both the start and end of two cruises.
She had sailed in eight days from Lisbon in Portugal, stopping off in Spain and France before completing her jounrney on Thursday in Portsmouth.
Then, after a quick turnaround, she was off once again, this time taking in the west country’s ports, the Isles of Scilly, south west Wales, south Ireland, mid-Wales again and then back to Dublin in the north of Ireland.
Wind Surf will be back at the port on September 7.
Yesterday there was another ship calling in to Portsmouth for the first time.
