FIRE crews were called to small blazes last night.

A crew from Havant was called to a tree fire, in Stockheath Road, Havant, at 8.44pm.

Firefighters said it may have been set alight on purpose.

Earlier a bin was set on fire at 4.15pm in West Street, Havant, at 4.15pm.

A crew from Gosport fire station went to a bin fire at Stokes Bay, in Gosport, at 9.05pm, which started after a cigarette fell from the ashtray into the main bin.

A Southsea crew was sent to a false alarm at a home in Waverley Road, Southsea, at 8.30pm.
