ABOUT 2,500 households lost electricity after a power cut.
Homes across Chichester were affected after a fault on a high-voltage cable just after 9.30am yesterday.
Power was restored about 40 minutes later but it affected homes in Bosham, Apuldram, Fishbourne, Westgate and parts of Chichester town centre.
A spokeswoman for Southern Electric apologised to customers.
