THE Portsmouth and Southsea Round Table is on the search for new recruits.

As the summer season ends, the organisation is calling on men across the area to become members.

The Round Table offers personal development skills such as speech writing and public speaking to its members.

And it organises a number of social activities, including events the benefit the community and offer members a chance to give something back.

Jason Thomson, from Round Table, said: ‘With children back at school and adults returning to work after taking time off for holidays, men typically look for new social activities as the dark evenings draw in, scuppering any outdoor after work plans.

‘We’re welcoming anyone who’s interested in getting involved to go along to their local Table and see what it’s all about. The more, the merrier.’

For more information on how to join, go online and see roundtable.co.uk/findoutmore or email join@roundtable.org.uk.
