Car crashes into fence in Gosport

TRAFFIC was held up after a car hit another vehicle and crashed through a fence.

The incident in Clayhall Road, Gosport, happened at 4pm yesterday.

The elderly lady driving the car hit a van after ploughing through the fence on the side of the road. Medics checked over the woman but she did not need to go to hospital. Gosport firefighters were dispatched to reinforce the fence. Traffic was delayed while the situation was sorted.

No-one else was injured.
