Car flips injuring woman

A WOMAN was cut out of her car after it flipped on to its roof near a hotel.

Firefighters from Fareham rescued the woman after the crash near the Holiday Inn at around 2.30pm yesterday.

She was injured and taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries is not currently known.

Two appliances from Fareham fire station attended the crash.

Firefighters had to remove her from the back of the car after cutting some of it away.

And two crews from Southsea fire station were later called to Warblington Street, Old Portsmouth at 9.15pm. A pan was on and the occupants had left. There was no fire.
