A driver escaped with just a minor head wound after overturning when swerving to avoid a deer on a Hampshire road.

Police published a picture of the overturned vehicle as a warning to motorists to slow down on coutry roads.

They were called at 4.30am on Tuesday to Fullerton Road near Andover.

It’s believed the Astra had crashed up to 30 minutes before the alarm was raised.
