CAROL singers will fill the air of a village with songs this weekend.

The service will take place at Stubbington village with singers from the Holy Rood Church, in Gosport Road.

It starts at 4pm on Saturday and all are welcome.

Next Saturday will see the return of the live nativity at the church.

More than 900 people went to the event in the grounds of the church last year to meet the shepherds, angels, wise men and Mary and Joseph.

People are welcome to stroke the animals in the stable.

It starts at 10am and finishes at 1pm with refreshments.
