COMMUNITY groups have shared a £9,000 windfall from a council.

West Sussex County Council has awarded funding of £2,500 to Chichester Bowmen, an archery club based in the city.

Others to benefit include The Chichester Society, a heritage group, which was given £400, and Sidlesham Parish Council, which was given £554 for a Jubilee sign in the village.
