A CASINO is to stage a darts marathon to raise cash for a cancer charity.

The Grosvenor Casino, Osborne Road, Southsea, has set up a 12-hour endurance match, which starts tomorrow at midday.

Darts teams from the area will be competing against each other to get the highest score.

But the real bullseye will the target to beat last year’s fundraising target by raising more than £2,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

There will also be other activities taking place to raise money, including a raffle.

General manager Conor Toner said: ‘As a local business, we are always keen to support charities in the area.

‘Last year we raised £2,000 and this time we want to beat that.’
