FIVE days of fundraising saw more than £300 raised for a good cause.

Fareham Leisure Centre – operated by Everyone Active in partnership with Fareham Borough Council – held the activities to raise cash for The Rainbow Centre, in Fareham.

The charity helps children with cerebral palsy and other motor skill problems. It also works with adults who have suffered from a stroke or have Parkinson’s Disease.

The centre put out a crisis appeal for funds two months ago.

The five-day fundraising took place last week and comprised of charity gymnastics, dance, trampoline and group exercises classes, as well as cake sales.

Manager Ryan Grant said: ‘The centre is an amazing local cause and we wanted to help support its invaluable work.’
