SHOPPERS can help the MS Society raise much-needed funds at a dedicated flower stand in Gunwharf Quays.

The stand has been put up in Central Square and all proceeds will go to the charity.

Mark Haymes, area fundraiser for the charity, said: ‘We’d like to thank Gunwharf Quays for partnering with the MS Society and hope that together with the local community we will be able to raise significant funds for people with MS.

‘The charity provides vital support and invests millions of pounds in research to help find a cure as well as improve treatment and services to those in need.’

Peter Emery, centre director at Gunwharf Quays, said: ‘We are committed to supporting charity initiatives that benefit people in the local area.

‘I hope the flower stand at Gunwharf Quays will help to kick-start a successful year for fundraising with the society.’
