THE director of a charity whose premises was ransacked by yobs has praised the help of the community.
The Harbour Cancer Support Centre in Gosport was trashed last year by two teenagers, forcing the charity to shut its doors for several days.
The director of the charity, Melanie Whitfield-Tinkler, said: ‘We’ve still got a bit of decorating to do but we’re operating again now.
‘We know it was done by a very small minority, as shown to us by the kind people who have helped us out.’
