THE high-flying acrobatic skills of Portsmouth cheerleaders entertained the public in Guildhall Square.

To raise money for Children in Need the youngsters performed display dance routines and even launched each other into the air on Friday.

Members of the Portsmouth Warriors Cheerleaders, who train in Southsea Community Centre in King Street, managed to collect £180 in two hours of performing.

Head coach Eloise Brodin-Thornhill said: ‘It was a brilliant day, there were lots of gasps from people walking past.’
