A FUNDRAISING golf tournament will be held in Rowlands Castle tomorrow.

The Kick It Into Touch event starts at 9am at Rowlands Castle Golf Course in Links Lane in aid of Everyman: Stamp Out Male Cancer, The Rowan’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Registration is from 9am before breakfast and between 9.30am and 11am. The action runs from 11am to 4pm before an evening meal and entertainment.

It includes a raffle, an auction and longest drive competition.

It has been organised by 36-year-old John Willis, of Portchester, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer two years ago and hopes his Kick It Into Touch organisation will eventually be granted full charity status.

He said: ‘It’s to raise awareness of testicular cancer. It’s being talked about a lot more but it’s still on the rise. I knew something was wrong six weeks before I was diagnosed. We are trying to get as much information out there as we can.’

Entry is £60 per person, £240 for a team of four and £100 to sponsor a hole. For more information, visit facebook.com/kickitintotouch
