FUNDRAISERS bowled for hours in a marathon session in aid of a disability charity.

One hundred people took part in the event on Tuesday at AMF Bowl Plex in Bedhampton, raising almost £1,000 for Enableability, in Copnor.

The charity acts of behalf of adults and children with severe disabilities.

Teams from across the area joined in and it was a group from HMS Sultan, in Gosport, who bowled the highest score.

Richard Soutar, manager of the charity, said: ‘It was really great fun.’ To donate go to enableability.org.uk.
