RIVALS Southern Water and Portsmouth Water went head to head in a charity football match.

The match, held at Otterbourne Football Club and refereed by former Southampton FC star Nicky Banger, raised more than £1,500 for the Rainbow Centre in Fareham.

Although Southern Water took an early lead, Portsmouth won 5-1.

Jason Cook from Southern Water said: ‘Thanks to everyone who supported the game and donated money – and see you for a rematch next year.’
