MONTHS of hard work will come to an end this evening as a group of performers take to the Kings Theatre stage – all in aid of charity.

The Musical Heroes production will celebrate music from the world’s biggest artists at the Albert Road venue from 7.30pm.

The event will raise cash for Help for Heroes and has been put together by Laura Hicks from the charity.

A group of friends aged between 16-29 have juggled full-time jobs, education, and parenthood to put the show together, which will dazzle the audience with all-singing and dancing hits from Elvis to Lady Gaga.

Laura said: ‘Each one of us wanted to use our passion for the stage towards something worthwhile. Working for the charity I see on a daily basis just how incredible the work Help for Heroes does is and how much the public’s generous donations can change lives.

‘We are all so determined to contribute to the cause and give everyone the opportunity to get behind the men and women of the Armed Forces.’
