The quiz night was organised by Danielle Thomas, who herself is a guide dog owner.

She said: ‘This charity is very close to my heart and it has changed my life massively by giving me the support which has enabled me to re gain my confidence and independence.

‘I’m really pleased with the amount we raised in just a single night.’
