Charity sets up service in Fareham and Gosport

A PARENTING service has been set up to help families where children have challenging behaviour.

Children’s charity Barnardo’s has started the Hampshire Specialist Parent Support Service with the help of the clinical commissioning groups for Fareham and Gosport and South East Hampshire. It provides group sessions and programmes.

The service supports parents and carers of children aged five to 17 who are diagnosed with autistic conditions, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and mild to moderate conduct disorder.

It also helps parents of teenagers displaying anti-social behaviour.
