AN ANIMAL shelter’s charity shop is pleading for donations to help replenish its shelves.

Stocks are running desperately low at the Stubbington Ark’s shop in West Street, Fareham.

The shop, which opened last July, is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Donations can be delivered to the shop’s rear access in Malthouse Lane or call (01329) 285949 to arrange a collection.

The Ark, which receives no central funding from the RSPCA, needs to raise more than £1m a year to keep its vital service running.
