Charity clothes sale for Lourdes visit

SICK children will benefit from a charity clothes sale by a champion fundraiser.

Julie Scarborough hopes to raise enough money to send children to Lourdes in France, on behalf of her church, St Coleman’s and St Paul’s, in Cosham.

The money from the sale at her home on Saturday will be split between Queen Alexandra Hospital’s Rocky Appeal and Naomi House children’s hospice.

Mrs Scarborough said: ‘Going to Lourdes gives sick children a lot of spiritual comfort and gives them something to look forward to.

‘We have absolutely tons of good quality clothes for sale at £1 an item for five for £4.

‘There will be a tombola where you get a prize every go and you can actually choose it. And as always there will be plenty of bling to buy.’

Mrs Scarborough lives 9 The Crest, Widley. The sale is from 1pm to 4pm and entry 50p and includes refreshments.
