FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue and freed a toddler when she was accidently locked inside a car.

The incident happened at 3.30pm yesterday in Benham Drive, Hilsea.

The child’s mother had locked the keys inside the car before taking her daughter out.

Firefighters prised the door ajar and used a coat hanger to retrieve the keys from the driver’s seat.
