A SIX-YEAR-OLD was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being hit by a car.

The incident happened on South Road, Cosham, at 4.30pm yesterday, and the child was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital.

Police and ambulance crews attended the scene.

The male, 24-year-old driver of the Citroen was unharmed in the incident.
