Christmas club and show at community centre

West Street, Havant

Second man arrested after man is assaulted in Havant street

A host of exciting events is coming up at a community centre.

The Children's Christmas Holiday Club begins on Monday and runs until Thursday at Denmead Community Centre from 8.45pm to 4.15pm.

It's open to children aged between five to 11.

They will make seasonal decorations from clay and gingerbread, as well as sweets and biscuits.

There will be a festive walk through the woods plus party treats, including a visit from Father Christmas, on the final day.

Forest Forge Theatre Company will present The Wolves of Willoughby Chase next Thursday at 6.30pm.

It is the story of two little girls, loyal and loving, who pit their wits against an evil guardian, who is remorseless and cruel.

As wolves encircle the land, will the girls manage to escape their imprisonment and reclaim their home?

Five actor/musicians will retell this exciting traditional tale, with haunting songs, energy and fun.

Tickets cost 8 for adults and 7 for pensioners and children.

To book a place, visit the community centre, in School Lane, or call (023) 92 25 6132.
