A TOWN will be taking a step back in time with the return of an annual bygone event.

Fareham will welcome classic cars and 50s music back to the town for the ninth year running.

The South Hants Vehicle Preservation Society, the Morris Marina Owners Club, the Morris Minor Owners Club, the Locks Heath Classic Car Club and Portsmouth and Southampton Mini Owners Club will pay a visit.

Now That’s Jive and 16-year old vocalist Nathan Cannon will provide the music.

Alan Gladwell, of the SHVPS, said: ‘Our members thoroughly enjoy reminiscing with people about their cars. There’s always enormous interest from Fareham.’

Bygone Fareham will return on Saturday, September 14 from 9.30am to 4.30pm in West Street, Fareham.
