FAREHAM’S Rotary Club has inducted its newest member to the lifelong group.

The group, which meets once a week at Cams Hall golf club, welcomed Alex Reardon as its newest Rotarian.

Mr Reardon, who lives in Wallington was introduced to the club by Antonio Pego-Pineiro who has known him for several years as he is a regular at Mr Pego-Pineiro’s restaurant in West Street, Fareham.

Mr Reardon admitted the aims and values of the club attracted him to the Rotary Club of Fareham and he is looking forward to being closely involved in activities and to enjoying his membership and the fellowship on offer.

The newest inductee, who works for IBM, was welcomed into the club by its president Bob Mussellwhite, who said Mr Reardon would be a valued member of the group.

He said: ‘We will encourage Alex to be involved in all the many activities we carry out which benefit the local community and charities.’
