Last week the Monkey Love Stunt Team gave you all a major wedgie at The Wedgewood Rooms and everyone involved had an amazing time – especially the winner of the £100 bar tab and all those who managed to win some of their goodies.

Tonight Push Forward join forces with their good friends NeedMore and spread themselves all over Al’burrito on Albert Road in Southsea from 7pm until 3am.

Upstairs you will find some of the best drum and bass DJs and MCs from all over the south coast. Meanwhile, downstairs in the bar you will find DJs Stu Bryan and Josh Dunleavy and all kinds of house and techno, with special guest DJ Simon Young from Fabric. The last one I went to was a laugh from start to finish. You can join them for just £4 on the door.

Down the road at The Cellars in Eastney, Beats and Swing are in control again and this time they bring you a guy who will take you firmly by the hand and guide you into a place that is unusual to say the least. Say hello to Joe Black.

Often described as creating a world where the shocking is sublime and unusual reigns supreme, this musical talent has toured all over the world and joined people such as Eddie Izzard in his dark cabaret genre.

The special guest this week will be Marley Blandford.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £10 each.

Tomorrow night, Portsmouth Guildhall will open its doors to a maximum-capacity sold out event.

This tends to only happen when one of the town’s top promoters books someone that everyone wants to see.

This Saturday Annie Mac is coming to town.

She has just taken over from Zane Lowe on BBC Radio One’s new music show, plays regular DJ sets to sell0out crowds all over the world and this weekend she is coming here.

Joining her will be DJ Anders and a secret Concrete Music Room.
