RESCUERS helped a jet skier to get his vehicle back to shore after he ran aground.

The Hill Head Coastguard Rescue Team was called to the mud off the shore at Browndown, in Lee-on-the-Solent, yesterday evening.

The jet skier had ran aground on the mud in low tide at 6.45pm.

The team waited with the man until the tide came in again and the jet ski was floated back to shore, where its owner brought it out undamaged via the slipway.
