ENJOY a charity coffee and natter morning to help combat loneliness in the elderly.

Jeanette Perry, from A Voice for Gosport, is hosting the event on behalf of AgeUK at the new community room in Rowner Road, Gosport.

She said: ‘There are so many people in our community who are lonely so I would like to provide some funds so that we can get them out spending time with others.’

The event takes place on Thursday, June 11 at 11am. Entry is £2 and there will be cakes and a raffle.

The organisers say they would welcome donations towards tea, coffee, sugar or items for the raffle.
