RESIDENTS are being invited to an annual city service at Portsmouth Cathedral.

The event, on Sunday at 10.30am, is held each year to celebrate the city, its citizens and community life.

There will be a civic procession including the new Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Cllr Steven Wylie, as well as other members of the city council before the service.

Invitations are sent out but any member of the community can attend.
