COMMUTERS face delays of up to an hour on the M27 eastbound near Hamble because of an accident involving four vehicles.

The westbound carriageway between junctions eight and nine started to move again at around 8am on Monday.

However, delays of up to an hour are expected eastbound between junctions three and nine, according to the traffic and travel information service, Romanse.

It said one lane is now open, with the other two lanes currently blocked after junction eight for accident recovery.

Hampshire Constabulary was called to the scene at 7.45am to reports of four vehicles being in collision.

No injuries have been reported.
