WITH heart surgery on the horizon, 15-year-old Connor Richardson needed something to look forward to.

Thanks to a nomination by his mum Claire Owen, Connor will be going to Fratton Park on Saturday to see Pompey play AFC Wimbledon.

Claire nominated Connor through The News’ Pay4aPompeyPal scheme which gives fans free tickets to Pompey home games.

Claire, from Chichester Road, North End, said: ‘Connor had surgery two years ago to widen his aorta.

‘A stent was put in but he has grown so much he needs another operation to get the stent widened.

‘This is happening on February 24 and I thought it would be good for Connor to have fun at the game like other teenagers do.’
