VOLUNTEERS are being recruited for a charity which provides support to families who need a little extra help.
Home Start Havant offers a helping hand to families with children aged under five who are going through difficult times.
That can be anything from a mother struggling with twins, a family who are far away from relatives and need a few hours practical support a week or families who are going through a break-up.
Sometimes its just a matter of helping a mum while she goes to a doctor’s appointment.
The free volunteer course begins on April 17 and runs for eight weeks, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, every Wednesday.
