Grants are available for cultural, community and sporting organisations across Hampshire.

The money has been allocated by the executive member for culture, recreation and countryside at Hampshire County Council, Councillor Andrew Gibson.

The purpose of the Culture and Community Activity Grant scheme is to support project costs, up to a maximum of £3,000.

The money will help groups and organisations which encourage and provide opportunities for individuals to participate in community-focused cultural and recreational activities.

Cllr Gibson said: ‘These groups play an important role in supporting our work of encouraging and providing opportunities for people to participate in and enjoy a range of activities.’
