A VILLAGE’S flood defences have been strengthened after a flood.

The Environment Agency has repaired cracks in the North Wallington wall on the River Wallington.

It is also in the process of designing a wall support solution and it has been working with Fareham Borough Council to remove silt to improve the flow of water.

A crack in the wall appeared during heavy floods in December.
