A CRAFT fayre raised £100 for a cancer charity.

Visitors got the chance to buy jewellery, handmade cards and chocolates from stalls at the event, which was held at St Philip’s Church, in Hawthorn Crescent, Cosham on Saturday, January 14.

Money raised from the day, which was organised by craft weekend workshop Scrapbook Getaways, was donated to Cancer Research UK.

Christine Judge, director of Scrapbook Getaways, said: ‘We’d like to thank all the stall holders and customers for coming and we hope to see people at our next one on Saturday, July 21.’

People can also get creative at a Cosham Scrapbook Club workshop, which is also run by Christine, this Saturday at St Philip’s Church.

The event is between 9.30am and 4.30pm and costs £15 per person.

Places must be booked in advance and a £5 cheque deposit is required. For information contact Christine on 07906 521361.
