At 9.30pm on Monday Katie was driving a blue Ford Ka eastbound when it left the carriageway at junction 12, collided with a barrier and overturned.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are continuing their investigation and would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the Ford Ka driving prior to it.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roads Policing unit, quoting Operation Finisterre, on 101.
