FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an oven fire.

Two crews from Southsea went to the first floor flat fire at 3.48pm in Queens Road, Buckland yesterday.

There was smoke damage to the flat. At 6pm yesterday a crew from Cosham were called to a burning bush in Chalk Pit Road, Paulsgrove, while a crew from Gosport went to a fire behind Skipper Way, in Lee-on-the-Solent, at 8.35pm.
