Residents will have the chance to discuss buses and crime at a community meeting.

Titchfield is the first location for the next round of Fareham Borough Council's regular community action team (CAT) meetings.

The meeting, at Abshot Community Centre next Wednesday, will feature discussions on First Bus and Crimestoppers, with representatives coming along to answer questions from the public.

Council officers and local police will also be there.

The meetings also give residents the chance to suggest ideas for their community and to bid for funds for local projects.

Councillor Sen Woodward, the leader of Fareham Borough Council, said: 'The local CAT meetings are the perfect way for residents who have any issues, questions or suggestions regarding their local area to take action in improving their communities.'

The other meetings across the borough will take place on Tuesday, February 1 at Red Barn Primary School, Linden Lea, Portchester; on Thursday, February 3, at Burridge Village Hall, Botley Road, Burridge; on Tuesday, February 15 at Ferneham Hall, Osborn Road, Fareham and on Thursday, March 3 at Holy Rood Church, Gosport Road, Stubbington.

All meetings run from 7pm to 8.30pm.
