Suspected arson incident in Waterlooville causes £50,000 of damage

THIEF Martin Campbell has been spared jail.

Campbell, 28, of Fawcett Road, Southsea, admitted stealing a bike in Eastern Road, Portsmouth, on October 10.

He admitted producing four cannabis plants at his home on October 20 and to committing fraud by selling a bike he knew to be stolen to make a £50 gain at Cash Generator in Portsmouth on October 10.

He was given an 18-week suspended sentence and a 12-week curfew by Portsmouth magistrates. He must pay £50 compensation and was put under supervision.
